Our History
Fonseca Law was founded in 1938 by Mr Amador Fonseca, solicitor, and has been providing a wide range of legal services both in South Wales and nationally ever since. The firm has expanded somewhat since its early days but still retains the personal touch.
The firm incorporated in 2007 and became Fonsecalaw Limited, but we trade, and are still known as, Fonseca Law
Serving Ebbw Vale and beyond
Based in Ebbw Vale, we are easy to reach from the Valleys and throughout South Wales. We are very near to Brynmawr, Abertillery and Tredegar, and about half-way between Merthyr Tydfil and Abergavenny, around 20 minutes’ drive from each (see location map).
The firm moved to a modern central building in Ebbw Vale in 2003 from our old offices in County Buildings. We now have excellent facilities for appointments and conferences, but any of our solicitors are happy to visit clients at home should they wish.
